ABOUT PUZZLEHEAD

WE BUILD GAMES PLAYERS REMEMBER, NOT JUST FINISH

Puzzlehead Studio is built on mechanics worth mastering, worlds with identity, and the belief that curiosity is the most powerful force in games. We experiment first, polish relentlessly, and never mistake content for substance.

01Principles

P·01

CURIOSITY FIRST

Players should want to experiment. If a mechanic doesn’t invite a "what if?", it isn’t finished.

P·02

MECHANICS MATTER

Gameplay should be understandable at a glance but capable of producing real depth over time.

P·03

EVERY WORLD NEEDS IDENTITY

Art, sound, mechanics, and narrative should reinforce each other. Nothing generic survives review.

P·04

NO GENRE LIMITATIONS

Puzzlehead moves between horror, arcade, narrative, experimental, and family-friendly games freely.

SMALL TEAM. ORIGINAL GAMES

Puzzlehead is deliberately small and fiercely independent. No publisher mandates, no genre quotas — just games we believe deserve to exist.

Want to say hello, pitch a collaboration, or ask about the games? We read everything.
